framedflowers was founded by Mille Lund-Andersen's great love for flower preservation and creating unique keepsakes and works of art. After her own wedding, she regretted not preserving her own bouquet, and years layer, the idea for framedflowers came to life. Mille has been perfecting her craft in flower and floral preservation since 2017, and she loves every step of the process - from selecting the blooms and pressing them, to designing each piece and working with her clients.

The sooner we receive the flowers, the better. We would like to have the flowers delivered the next business day after the event and ideally within 3-4 days. Unfortunately, we cannot accept flower deliveries on weekends.

We can work with most flowers and achieve beautiful results. While we always take great care, we can never guarantee that every flower will press perfectly.
Flowers are natural and the pressing process is not always fully controllable. The outcome also depends on the condition in which we receive the flowers and whether they have, for example, been sprayed or treated in any way. When creating your piece, we use the flowers and floral that have pressed most beautifully. Flowers with strong colors and greenery generally retain their colors best. 

White flowers in particular tend to turn brown when pressed or over time, but this varies from flower to flower. We work without the use of chemicals so you should expect some natural fading or changes in color over time. 

We are happy to offer advice regarding the choice of flowers before your special event, if desired.

Yes! We work with flowers from weddings, christenings, funerals and many other occasions. We love creating all kinds of pieces for the home, as gifts or for businesses. 

If you have an idea of which flowers you’d like in your personalized piece, we can also source and frame them for you. Please don't hesitate to contact us with your ideas!

Place your bouquet or flowers in water whenever possible. After the event, be sure to keep them in water and ideally in a cool place or refrigerator until they are delivered to us. 

While we do everything we can to work efficiently, the craft of proper flower pressing cannot be rushed. Once we have received your flowers it takes approximately three months for your artwork to be completed. 

We are meticulous in the pressing process and never compromise on the slow, careful method required for beautiful flower preservation. This ensures the best possible result and keeps the colors of the flowers looking their finest. 

Once the flowers are preserved, we’ll send a design proposal and await your feedback before we frame the artwork.

Frames from framedflowers that are properly cared for will last for many decades - with a good chance for the rest of your life and longer.

Direct sunlight and UV light are the worst enemies of pressed flowers, and we strongly recommend placing your finished artwork away from these light sources. Dust, fragments or pollen may detach from the flowers onto the glass during moving or transporting the work and during large temperature changes. It will settle in the frame.

We preserve all flowers without the use of chemicals and since both the flowers and the preservation are completely natural, you should expect natural fading or changes in color over time. We love that this allows the artwork to evolve with you, serving a gentle reminder of the passage of time.

Yes, that would be lovely! As long as you credit our work and links are available from the pictures taken from our Instagram or website.

Unfortunately, we do not work with flowers that have already been dried. Our process requires fresh flowers as dried flowers will crumble in the flower press.

We create personal artworks starting from 30 x 40 cm, as smaller frames do not provide sufficient space to accommodate a wedding bouquet. 

The price for a 30 x 40 cm piece is DKK 4500. 

The price for a 40 x 50 cm piece is DKK 6500. 

The price for a 50 x 60 cm piece is DKK 8500. 

It is possible to add additional pieces (also in smaller sizes) for example using bouquets or wreaths from bridesmaids or groomsmen as well as table decorations. Prices for additional pieces start from DKK 2500 per piece in 20x30 cm / 25 x 25 cm.

If you require specific flowers that we do not currently have in stock, we kindly recommend reaching out well in advance, as the pressing process takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
